Halloween Decor for Lovers of Neutral Colours
Next week is the week of Hallow's eve. It's dark and getting cold and this is the time of year when lots of people embrace the tradition by surrounding their homes with autumn themed decorations.
Although a lot of these traditional decorations can be fun, they can also be quite tacky, mess inducing and worst of all... not in sync with the rest of your home. If you're still interested in having fun festive decorations, but still want to keep your home decor unified, stylish and aesthetically pleasing then ’tis the season to see what ideas are out there.
I did a little web investigating for minimilism festive decor for the Halloween period.
From pumpkin spice candles to gold pumpkins, here are some of the ideas I love:

1. Pumpking Painting

I love... let me repeat...LOVE white, gold and black as an accent colour theme. I'm still an earth tone lover, I prefer beige, caramels, browns and greys but adding a little gold, silver, black and white gives a minimilistic/neutral space some sparkle and adds edge to tranquility.
Painting your pumpkins white and black gives the pumpkins a stylish and fancy aesthetic from the natural orange hues.

2. Autumnal Art Prints
Gold candle holders, dark toned vases, pampas grass, miniature gourds, wooden trays and autumnal art prints. These items definitely set a great fall mood doesn't it? Atmospheric items such as these are easy to find especially online. This wall print is from notonthehighstreet.com by a fabulous UK-based graphic designer named Annie Dornan-Smith (she has my name!).
Etsy always supplies the best hand-made and/or interior design focused items.
Autumn is a theme sellers on Etsy do well, and here a few links of the items shown above (and more!) for the same stylised living space:

3. Mixed Media Pumpkins
From concrete mix to knitted crochet and even candle wax, pumpkins made from different materials is an up and coming trend that many are now adding in their autumnal home decor.

4. Shelf Styling
If you have a nook full of books, memorabilia trinkets or just clutter and you want to update it for the autumn period, here's the place for some ideas of what to add (and take away) to present a similar look below:

5. Pumpkin Aroma Candles

In my opinion when your home starts smelling like pumpkin spice, cinnamon, maple, etc then the autumn atmosphere is half way met :)
6. Ink Candles
These are sold on etsy by theblackenedteeth. They don't come with the gold and black platforms/holders, but you can purchase all different kinds of candle plates and holders that go with these candles.... or don't have any at all!
